So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where were you able to get your pair?

I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
What’s the price?
When I bought my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their regular price is around $514.

Are they true to size?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Is the comfort worth it?
They required minimal break-in time..
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also be smart.
